Enter the Interverse. |
Welcome
to the Interverse project. What is the Interverse? The
Interverse is the next generation interface to the
internet. It is the evolution and combination of the web,
chat, instant messaging, and voice communication. It is
not just a graphical user interface (GUI), but an
immersive user interface (IUI). The interverse is a
virtual universe running on top of the internet.

| New sponsor found to host the Interverse server |
January 31, 2005 |
| We have found a new sponsor to doante bandwidth and to host the Interverse server. We are in the process of configuring and installing the new server now. Once this new server is in place, a new release of the citizen client will be made to use the new server.
In addition, the new release will add support for big endian processors which include Mac OSX and LinuxPPC.

| Bandwidth needed to host Interverse server |
June 24, 2004 |
| We are looking for a new linux server that has a little bandwidth to spare to host the interverse server software. This software tracks and manages who is currently logged into the Interverse and is required for the citizen client to work. If you have some space available and would be interested in helping out, please send a note to info@interverse.org and let us know.
